Good ol' fashioned procrastination

Well. I'm completely stuck on my last paper of the quarter for this odious Chaucer class (but alas, not my last...there are others to follow this one. Meh.), so I figured it'd be the perfect time to update Blog!

Graduation fast approaches.
School right now is more of a drag than RuPaul.
Once upon a time I was a motivated human being.
Funny, how things change...

Anywho, a little ditty, then, because I've got nothing else:

Geoffrey Chaucer was a poet
he's kinda famous now, don't you know it
so the university decided it would be fit
to make the poor student masses sit
and write papers on his shit
Clearly, I've become so articulate
this is the penultimate class I need to graduit
O! Let this be done
let there be sun
let me find a job soon
or come June
I shall be screwed
My knowledge of Middle English won't pay the rent
gosh darn it my brain is spent
I have senioritis
I have no-more-essays-itis
I have what-am-I-going-to-do-with-my-life-itis
and probably even more -itises beyond the aforementioned -itises.

WHERE IS THE CURE?
(not the band but the remedy the remedy?!?)

Yup.

In the meantime, I've taken to playing Neopets again, just like I did when I was, like, 8 or 9 or 10. And you know what? It's pretty damn fantastic. I think I appreciate it more, now.

And you know, it's good to appreciate things in life.
(just a little nugget from me to you, no charge)

Alright alright alright back to work bleeeeehhhhhhhhhhh.

Someday I will write something real and good here.

FUCK YES NEOPETS. That game ate my life all through middle school and I loved every second of it.

I stopped playing when they changed how the Usul looked. I was really offended and signed online petitions and everything, because I am a giant dork.

It's so amazing. The fact that it has its own stock market was a little lost on me as a child, but now I find it incredible.

I have a blue nimmo, and I named it after linkin park, which I think is somewhat indicative of my jr. high mindframe, lol.

I'm gonna go spin the wheel of excitement.
