It seems that the universe is finally coming to its senses and realizing its better attributes.
MSN has determined Celebrity Rehab to be one of "The Best Shows on TV You're (Probably) Not Watching," and I just have to say that I heartily agree with this assessment.
For how long now have I been shamelessly pimping out this show and all its variations? I now have validation of its amazingness! Booyah!
Their little blurb reads: This show is as addicting as the substances it's participants are being treated for. Don't feel guilty for eavesdropping on the personal demons of its stars, feel guilty that you haven't watched any of its previous incarnations (there's also "Sober House" and "Sex Rehab"). Though this season's cast is devoid of a Jeff Conaway or Gary Busey-type (read: totally bonkers!), it does feature Dennis Rodman, Mackenzie Phillips, one-time couple Heidi Fleiss and Tom Sizemore and the former bassist of Alice in Chains, who wasn't a hardcore addict during his band's heyday, but became one after his eventual firing. Yes, the show's stars are seeking publicity, but they're also seeking help -- and it's hard not to root for that. At the center of it all is Dr. Drew Pinsky, whose professionalism and warmth lend the show enough credibility to take it from farcical to fascinating.
I love Dr. Drew.
He's almost too damn cool for his own good.
